Program Information
IPA Spring Break Camp provides age appropriate activities indoors and outdoors. This program is designed to keep children active and engaged in different activities such as games, crafts, and more!
This program will run from 8 AM–4 PM for 5 days, starting March 22, 2021 and ending on March 26, 2021.
Students must bring their own lunch, water bottle and afternoon snack.
Spring Break Camp students may be dropped off no earlier than 7:45am and must be picked up no later than 4:00pm. A fee of $10.00 for every 5-minute increment will be charged and billed.

There will be no refunds or pro-ration of tuition.
IPA Spring Break Camp may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, and parents who have completed registration will be notified and refunded in early February.

Winter/Spring 2020 Classes
Winter/Spring classes run from January 14 – April 18.
There is a limited number of spaces in each class. Enrollment is on a first come basis. Class start and end times vary, so please check course descriptions for each class. A minimum of 12 students is needed for the course to be offered.

Class descriptions
Art (Grades K-2) – Limited to 12 students CLOSED
Times: Monday 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Instructor: Mrs. Katie Davis
Room: Secondary 210
Fee: $125
Students will experience art through different mediums in this after school art class. Whether it is through drawing or painting, students will gain confidence in their artistic abilities. Class fee includes materials.
STEM (Grades 3-5)
Times: Monday 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Instructor: Ms. Alyssa Kuffel
Room: Secondary 210
Fee: $125
The Science Discovers class involves all aspects of the science world. We will use STEM, oceanography, marine science, biology, chemistry, physics and much more. Students will make traditional fish prints, do a dissection, build their own paper roller coaster – just to name a few activities. This class focuses on hands-on learning, building, and problem solving as well as discovering many things through real world applications! Come join the fun! Materials fee included.
Kdis on the Go (Grades 3-5)
Times: Wednesday 2:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Instructor: Ms. Stevi Dixon
Room: Elementary Foyer

This running program for boys and girls provides a positive and healthy opportunity for children to develop routine of physical exercise. The program will emphasize the fun of running and focus on conditioning and technique. Runners will learn stretching and strengthening exercises to improve their running and avoid injury.
Clay Studio (Grades 3-5) CLOSED
Times: Thursday 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Experience the magic of the clay! In this hands-on class, we explore the hand building techniques of coil, pinch, and slab, abstract work; various textured applications in exciting projects that nurture children’s creativity; and wheel throwing. Each week, students will create pieces in three dimensional arts, such as animals, masks and more! These projects make great bases for children’s personal visions and allow them to play with art concepts including symmetry, texture and patterns. Working with clay helps children develop coordination and concentration while teaching them how to transform ideas into creative expressions. As the class proceeds they will be gaining knowledge about ceramic materials, glazes and firings. Class fee includes materials.
Soccer 101 (Grades 1-3)
Times: Thursday 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Have you ever thought about playing soccer, but don’t know how to play? Come join us for Soccer 101! This class will be an introduction to soccer, where we’ll go over all the basic skills (dribbling, passing, shooting, trapping, etc.) and rules of the game. Hope to see you out there!
Note: This class is not intended for those who are already familiar with the game - although are welcomed if they would like to brush up on any of the basics.

Creative Drama (Grades K-5)
Times: Friday 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Instructor: Mrs. Brandi Dul

Fee: $125
This class will encourage creativity, self-expression, communication, empathy for others and social relationships. Dramatic activities can include pantomime, creative movement, creative drama, storytelling, choral speaking, story drama, reader’s theatre, theatre games, puppetry and musical theatre.
