IPA seeks to engage parents in the life of the school and in a collaboration to enhance their children’s educational progress.  Indeed, such school involvement on the part of parents has been shown to be important in success for children in their intellectual and personal development.  Children learn from example, and seeing their parents involved at the school sends a message about the importance placed on education and support of the school.

The Island Pacific Academy Parents Association (IPAPA) is led by a group of committed parents elected annually.  The organization supports the school in many ways, mainly through organization of volunteer efforts and coordinating special family social events on campus.
