Put a Bead on It!
“Put a Bead on It!” is an initiative started by Secondary English teachers Laura Boles and Owen Williams to provide opportunities for Secondary faculty to show their appreciation for each other and help build community connections.
15 Years of Service: Eileen Novak
Eileen Novak joined ISLAND PACIFIC ACADEMY as a part-time Elementary classroom assistant on January 10, 2005. Over the past 15 years, she has also served as Elementary office manager and Admissions Assistant, and is currently the Director of Admission and Director of Summer School and After-school Enrichment. She is one of seven current IPA faculty and staff members who are celebrating their 15th year of service.
15 Years of Service: Momi Kuahiwinui
Momi Kuahiwinui joined ISLAND PACIFIC ACADEMY as the Kindergarten teacher on November 18, 2004. Over the past 15 years, she has been a caring teacher of the littlest ones and has worked to promote the knowledge and appreciation of the Hawaiian culture. She is one of seven current IPA faculty and staff members who are celebrating their 15th year of service.
15 Years of Service: Laura Angel Guzman
Laura Guzman knows that ISLAND PACIFIC ACADEMY is a special learning place where, with the right mind and heart, great things can happen. Guzman joined IPA on June 27, 2005 as the Secondary Spanish teacher, where she has continued for the past 15 years. She is one of seven current IPA faculty and staff members who are celebrating their 15th year of service.
15 Years of Service: Stan Vincent
When Stan Vincent attended that first organizational meeting in 2003 for a new school in Kapolei, he probably couldn’t have imagined that he would be celebrating 15 years of service in 2020. Vincent joined IPA as the Middle school science teacher on July 20, 2005, and is one of seven current IPA faculty and staff members who are celebrating their 15th year of service.
