Tenth grader Mikaela Mullen ’28 turned a classroom game development project into a nationally recognized app — earning an honorable mention in the Congressional App Challenge for Hawaiʻi District 1 with ʻOpihi Man, an original video game designed to inspire young people to protect Hawaiʻi’s environment.
