Exciting FUNdraisers to Support IPA

Several all-school fundraisers are on the horizon for September offering various ways to support Island Pacific Academy.  Make a contribution to the Annual Fund at a grocery check-out.  Choose one, two, or all three of the fundraisers that will support Technology here at the school.  Each of these opportunities begin on Tuesday, September 1 and run through the end of the month.

Elementary grade students will bring home information in their Friday Folders on August 28.  Students in grades 6-8 are receiving information packets from their Pu’uhonua teacher.  Grade 9-12 students will receive their packets during class meetings next Tuesday.  Here is an overview:

Foodland’s Give Aloha Program – supports the IPA ANNUAL FUND

Grocery shopping at Foodland or Sack N Save?  Foodland’s Give Aloha Program lets you add a donation to Island Pacific Academy when you pay for your groceries at check-out.  Use your Maika’i card and give IPA’s code 78436 to the cashier.  A matching fund of up to $300,000 from Foodland and Western Union will be shared proportionately by all of the non-profits in the Give Aloha program.  September 1-30. Entertainment Book – supports Technology

Save up to 50{ecf245a61dbeb35a782c86c44f242cdc7d98fa7632a752b76c5afca81a7454ba} on the things you do every day with a 2016 Hawaii Entertainment book full of coupons for restaurants, services, and activities.  The Hawaii book will be on sale for $30 (a $5 savings from the online price) September 1-30.  Hawaii’s book includes discount offers for the Big Island, Maui, and Kauai as well as Oahu.  An order form will be coming home with your student.  Families who buy or sell 6 books will receive a $25 gift card–choose from Safeway, Foodland, Walmart, Starbucks, or Target.

iDcard – supports Technology

The iDcard gets you a discount at hundreds of local businesses and can be used again and again.  Each iDcard costs just $20 and comes with a $15 gift card to use at Eggs & Things and a $10 gift card for Ryan’s.   Order yours by September 30.  Use the order form coming home with your student.

Great American – supports Technology

Think ahead for holiday gift giving.  The Great American Opportunities catalog is filled with gifts for people of all ages.  Popular items include jewelry, scarves, tote bags, clever kitchen items, household decorations, high quality gift wrap paper, hundreds of options for personalized gifts, magazine subscriptions, and even food gifts like chocolates, popcorn, dessert mixes, and cookie dough.

The goal of the three Technology fundraisers is $20,000 which will be used for software upgrades for student and IPA use.
