Student and parent visitors alike half expected to see Paul Revere racing through the Elementary building warning that the British are coming at the Grade 5 American Revolution Museum last week. The students’ project-based learning transformed the Grade 5 wing of the second floor into colonial America as they asked the question “How do we as artists connect our community with the people and events of the American Revolution?” The answer was through art, dance, music, food, technology – and a lot of research – presented to the public as a living museum.
