Navigator Award Recognizes Exemplary Senior

The highest student award at ISLAND PACIFIC ACADEMY is the Navigator Award given each year to a graduating senior.  Selected by the faculty, this “ideal student” personifies key components of IPA’s mission statement such as:

  • Strength of character, based upon such core values as respect for others, generosity of spirit and the power of human kindness
  • A commitment to become an involved citizen of the community and the world; a person who understands and practices democratic values
  • Exhibiting confidence to maximize the use of intellectual, academic, physical, artistic and creative gifts in preparation for college and as a life-long learner
  • Recognizing each individual’s value

 

Island Pacific Academy Navigator Award

The Navigator awardee receives a special medal engraved with his/her name on the back presented in a shadow box. At Commencement the awardee wears the Navigator medal in addition to any other honor cords or stoles.
