IPA’s Gallery Night event, on Saturday, April 23 is just around the corner. Parent volunteers and students have been busy creating one of a kind art projects to be auctioned off to the highest bidder at this FREE event for IPA families. There will be an art project created by the students of each grade, kindergarten to grade 12, the bidding for each will begin at $40. Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on some additional items that were missed at our Grand Expedition event in February.
In addition to the art for auction, there will be displays throughout the Secondary building of individual students’ art from grades K to 12. Guests will be welcome to wander the halls while sipping wine, beer, soda or water and enjoying cheese, crackers and a light assortment of snacks. “I am really looking forward to this event as a community-building opportunity. Guests will be able to chat in a relaxing atmosphere while they enjoy the different art displays. And the art that our students create is very impressive!” exclaims Yvette Anseeuw, IPA’s Fundraising Events Coordinator. “This is a great opportunity to show off our amazing art department.”
Childcare will be provided by Leeward YMCA in the Elementary building as Gallery Night is an adults-only event. Parents can register for childcare and RSVP to the event on the website. “We are really encouraging people to RSVP for the event on the website so that we can be sure to have plenty of food and drinks,” Anseeuw comments. “Also, the process of assigning bid numbers for the auction and of checking out will be much more efficient the more guest information we have ahead of time,” she added.
IPA’s Gallery Night will be held on campus on Saturday, April 23, 5:00 – 8:00 pm. To register for childcare and RSVP to Gallery Night, please go to islandpacificacademy.org/gallerynight. Check back on the website frequently to see the growing list of art projects up for auction.
