More Than $3.7 Million in Scholarships Awarded to IPA’s Class of 2022

ISLAND PACIFIC ACADEMY’s Class of 2022 has been awarded $3,795,558 in academic scholarships and awards. The IPA graduates submitted applications to over 107 colleges across the United States, and will be matriculating to colleges and universities in 12 states.

The graduates will be pursuing degrees in biology, business, computer science, engineering, finance, forensic science, marine biology, neuroscience, nursing, and psychology at schools across the nation, from the University of Vermont, to Loyola University at Chicago, and on through to the University of Washington.

“This year, the emphasis of ‘fit’ over name recognition in our seniors’ college selections reflected intelligent personal insight by our seniors, focused on specific program curriculum within an environment conducive not only to academic and career success, but one that would challenge their social and cultural experience in the world,” shared Susan Goya, IPA’s College, Career, and Life Readiness Counselor. “With the pandemic also affecting the financial and institutional resources of higher education, our seniors thrived with merit-based scholarships to aid the pursuit of their dreams.”

I mua me ka haʻaheo, Class of 2022!
