Navigators Serve the Community on Make a Difference Day

It was another whirlwind day of community service for IPA’s Secondary students at our spring Make a Difference Day. Students were out in the field performing community service activities for eight organizations across the island, including Sustainable Coastlines, Papahana Kualoa, Kāko’o ‘Oiwi, Camp Mokuleia, Mari’s Garden, Hawaiian Railway, Food Pantry, Kalaeloa Partners.

Make a Difference Day, and IPA Gives Back Day, are two of our Secondary service initiatives that provide students with opportunities for meaningful service learning that makes a difference in our island-wide community. Service to the community is a graduation requirement for every student at ISLAND PACIFIC ACADEMY.
