ISLAND PACIFIC ACADEMY Navigators completed another successful weekend of competition, with student athletes in volleyball, cross country, air riflery, and football putting out a great effort across the board.
Air Riflery
The Boys and Girls Varsity and Boys and Girls JV sporter air riflery teams competed against Kamehameha Schools this Saturday at St. Francis School. The IPA Navigators swept Kamehameha in all four matches, demonstrating yet again their impressive shooting skills.
Cross Country
ISLAND PACIFIC ACADEMY Navigators cross country runners competed at their first ILH meet of the season on Saturday at Kamehameha Schools’ Kapalama campus. IPA had runners in the Boys Varsity and JV, as well as runners in the Boys and Girls Intermediate. The IPA JV Boys and the Intermediate Boys and Girls all posted improved times this weekend, and IPA Navigator Frank Condello (’18) finished in 8th place for in the Varsity Boys division. Congratulations to Frank, and all the IPA runners!
Volleyball
The Girls Intermediate volleyball team played a double-header on Saturday at Hanalani School. In the first match, the Lady Navigators outperformed Assets School, putting them away in two sets, 25-14 and 25-22. In the second match of the day, IPA played Hanalani, beating them in straight sets, 25-15 and 25-11. The Lady Navigators continue to play well, under the guidance and encouragement of Coach Tommy and Coach Casey! Well done, Navigators!
Football
The Varsity and Intermediate Pac-Five football teams played games last Friday and Saturday, respectively. Players on both teams gave great efforts, but came up short: Varsity Pac-Five lost to Damien 27-40, and Intermediate Pac-Five fell to ʻIolani 0-39.
